If you look at hotels in Linthincum you will find several that are just a few minutes away from the airport. Some offer airport shuttles. We stayed at the Mariott TownePlace Suites and was very happy there.

We stay at the holiday in Linthicum. it's about a 5 minute ride from there to BWI and you can leave your car at the hotel for free if you are a priority club member. I always stay there on points and leave my car there. They have free shuttle service to/from BWI and best of all, you can park for free!!!

Which hotel are you a priority club member? Thta is a great idea to leave the car and then not pay for parking. We are trying to decide the same thing. Is it through the BWI Marriott?

Priority Club is the rewards program Holiday Inn, Holiday Inn Express, Candlewood Suites, Crown Plaza etc. It's free to join and you get points for staying at their hotels. I used to travel a lot for work and accumulated millions of points.

Thanks! I'll check them out. I just called the Hampton Inn they are only $79/night + $5/night parking which isn't bad, but if I can get a comparible priced room w/free parking that would be even better!
I'll post if I find one!
