I must have early onset dementia.;)

I can honestly sit through half an episode of a TV show and wonder if I've seen it before. It SEEMS familiar, but I don't remember enough to make it seem repetitive. It's like I never really watched it before at all.:confused3

This happens with "House" all the time for me. And I watch that show REGULARLY.:rotfl:

Pass the memory-enhancing herbal remedy please.;)

Anyone else? Please say yes.:lmao:

I got one for you!! I really don't watch TV, mostly movies. I told some friends I was going to watch The Notebook a little while ago.
Half hour, HALF HOUR, later I came back on line to say I wasted a half hour of my life!
I thought to myself "hey self, this is awfully long for a preview"
An additional 15 minutes later I realized I was watching the Dukes of Hazzards movie

My memory is getting so bad, it really is starting to worry me.

Forget TV shows; I just read through half a novel and while certain things in it rang a bell, it didn't dawn on me that I'd read it, until I was mid-way through it.

They say hearing is the first to go... I beg to differ!

Wait a minute... where am I again????

OK, I have tears rolling down my face right now.:rotfl:

This is really embarrassing but since I don't know anyone here...while watching a show or movie, I'll fall asleep as a commerical comes on & somehow wake up just as the movie is about to resume, but I can't remember what I was watching.

There's so many other ways my memory is bad, but I can't think of them right now.:guilty:

With House & some other shows especially the L&O's, that's understandable, I think some of the stories are similiar. Like they used it a couple of years ago.

Ah, thanks. Friends. Yea, I think I saw that episode. Rachel & Joey were...oh wait, were you talking about something else?

I don't really do that with shows but I do it ALL the TIME with books. I must have dozens of books that I have already read and I don't realize it until I get about halfway through them!!!

Nope, it's not just age (unless at 32 I am already losing it?!) I had the same experience with a book--I kept having flashes of familiarity, but it took me until abotu 3/4 through to truly confirm I had read it before.

This is embarrassing but since I'm among friends...sometimes I'll be watching a movie & fall asleep just as the commercial comes on, then when the movie comes back, I wake up and, wait a minute, this is sounding familiar. Did I answer this question already?

 Friends...Rachel...L107Angel...Joey, yeah, I think I did this already.
Nevermind.

Don't do that!

Sheesh... I was reading it, thinking I was having deja vu. :scared:

When Star Trek: Voyager was on UPN a couple years ago, I saw everything from season 4 on. Now that it's on Spike we're watching them and after season 4, so far there are only three episodes I remember. :scared: The rest of the family is laughing at me because I just don't remember.

And here's the kicker: I'm 18. :confused3

No, I'm not blonde.

I'm brunette.

We're supposed to be smart.

I'm supposed to be smart.

I think college is taking my brain away.

Sad, ain't it?
