and I LOVE it. I traded in my PS2 and got $100 off, and then traded my XBOX and some games and got even more $$ to put towards games and peripherals.
The DVD quality puts my PS2 to shame, even on regular discs. Blu Ray discs are AMAZING. I watched Sleepy Hollow and it was so cool. I've already played Sonic and Resistance: Fall of Man. Sonic is ok, has camera issues and the load times are a bit long, but Resistance is outstanding. Even my PS2 games like Kingdom Hearts look and perform better on this thing.
The only downside was how long it took to get the online part set up, but that's kind of par for the course. Now that I am set up, I can download PS1 games, and connect my PSP and download games for that as well.
I know the cost is pretty prohibitive for a lot of people, especially families-but Uncle Sam was good to me this year.

I think anyone who can afford a PS3 rocks, and I'd love to play one at least once, but I think we'll keep our Wii!
They're awesome!
I can't wait to sit up all night playing it on March 12....I am such a nerd!
