My very first idea was por. i was so excited about staying on disney. then i got all these ideas about staying off property and how much cheaper it would be. i have been pulling my hair out of my head. just a few minutes ago i said forget and just whipped up a new por idea and thats what were going for. Nov. 7-16 going to all disney parks, islands of adventure, seaworld, and medieval times all for my honeymoon. Its a lot but were staying a long time. yay thanx for all the help.

How about reconsidering your US/IOA to another time?

I would spend my entire time at WDW if staying at pOR - it is a lovely resort.

We are staying 6 nights at POR in 2 weeks time - WooHoo! We will be travelling to Universal for a day trip and coming back to POR. Usually stay onsite at Universal, but found the rates way too high for my taste! Hopefully this strategy will work out okay!

Sorry, but if it were my honeymoon, I would've never considered off site. I mean, IT'S MY HONEYMOON!!

Dh and I stayed there our first "adult" trip to WDW and LOVED it! You will definately feel the romance. And I second Pat's suggestion. I would just do WDW this time, but that's me. There's so much to do just on Disney property.

Have fun planning. I wish our honeymoon we would have gone to WDW. Well, at least I got a second honeymoon out of it.

Glad you came to peace with your decision Chase ! POR is a terrific resort---we're thinking of adding a couple nights there ourselves this summer. Have a fantastic time and a wonderful honeymoon
