Hope this is true! Ratatouille is my favorite "new" Disney movie.

You know to be honest I think anything coming to Epcot is a good thing. Sadly I wish it didn't mean adding more Disney characters to World Showcase. On a side note would it be a good time to mention that this past Thursday I was at Epcot and saw some executives standing around Imagination, Energy and the living seas. They were the same group of men and they were outside Imagination for a WHILE taking down notes and other things. Just thought I share.

I also was there Thursday before 1pm and saw several "executive" looking people around that side of Future World. The next day I also saw executives at Animal Kingdom in the line at Kilimanjaro Safaris and overheard them talking about FP+.

Does DLP has an exclusivity deal with Disney like Tokyo DL? Wouldn't that prevent Disney from replicating any attraction from Paris?

I doubt it. DLP is owned by the Walt Disney Company, wheras Tokyo DL and DisneySea are actually owned by the Oriental Land Company who license the Disney name and intellectual property. The exclusivity deal is most likely because the Walt Disney Company doesn't actually own the designs, etc that are put in at the Oriental Land parks.

That would be great for EPCOT...but where would they put it? I don't think there's enough space in the France pavilion, is there?

I'm not exactly sure but I do know there are some big restrictions with the French government and disney that may be one of them. DLP does have a lot of the disney world attractions tho like small world, space mountain, big thunder, tower of terror, rock n roller coaster, pirates, captain EO, dumbo, Aladdin's carpets, Peter Pan, and star tours. Maybe they would tweak it a bit in order to bring that attraction here to make them not exactly the same. It's obviously just a rumor and it has some people talking.

WDI was hired by OLC to do the ride designs, etc. So I'm not 100% sure what the agreements are - I've not heard of the exclusivity deal before - but OLC could have built an exclusivity clause into the work-for-hire contract.

Oh, I see. Then this might be a good idea, after all I still agree that focus should be on FW rather than WS, but I'm definitely not opposed to a project like this.

I feel like something like this would reduce WS' appeal for some adults. On the other hand, the area could be benefited by families whose children were never interested in WS's type of experience.

I read into the ownership of DLP. The walt disney company owns about 40% Saudi royal family owns about 10% and the Euro Disney company owns the rest making them majority owner.

Well don't expect the Frozen craze to die down anytime soon. Anyone who watched the season finale of Once Upon a Time would now know that a certain ice princess is making her way to Storybrooke. So Frozen is going to be the name in town for a while longer.

Isn't Tower of Terror technically trackless? And Great Movie Ride? I believe they follow guides but do not run on track rails...

I sposed they could be considered trackless but they really aren't. All of them follow some sort of wire beneath the floor. So they are more guided. Trackless would be the cars programed to "go here" or "go there" and could probably be changed fairly easy as they wouldn't have to rip up the floor to do so..
