Forever Mug

Does anyone have a picture of the forever mug from any of te All Star Resorts? I'm pretty sure we have some, but I'd like to be certain. The ones we have are probably 15 years old or so. Thanks!

I am not sure there was one sold there. I know at one time I was told that a mug from the ASMu as good at ASMo or ASSp but only during your stay.

I know that there were never any sold at the POP because the new policy had started by the time the pop opened.

We do have some from the BC and the Contemporary from way back that were sold to us as good at that resort for our life times.

Well my friend is at WDW now....Sports has the refillable mugs with the chip in them! Good for 2 weeks.....the Disney Mug Police have seemed to have finally taken over. Considering I have seen all kinds of mugs from many years past...I am curious to see how this will work!

From what I have been told, the forever mugs had to be from before late 2003, since that is when POP opened. The "length of stay mugs" were already in place when the Pop opened in Dec 2003.

I have been told that the true forever mugs will still be honored if you show them the original mug. They will then give you a chip mug or perhaps a chip sticker for your mug. Now the actual way all of this will be handled is still up for grabs since the chip mug system is still in testing mode.

How would it be a forever mug if you turned it in for a chip mug? Then you chip mug works for 2 weeks....do they give you a voucher for the chip mug every year? That could get confusing.

So do you think my mug from June 2003 is considered "Forever"???
I have mugs from 2007..POP, WL mugs...from 2010 bought one in June this year and lost on the way home, think its rolling around in some ME bus!!

Really...all the money they make on these mugs...and the great deal they have with Coco Cola...why cant it be Let Them Drink SodaPop!

Because Disney is a business, and as such their goal is to seperate us from our money. Not to give us stuff for free, as much as we would appreciate it!

So any mug from pre-2003 is a forever mug? I always thought it was some specific mug. I have a bunch of mugs from 1999/2000.

And I have been buying mugs every trip!
