Forever changing holiday plans!

Hi DIS'ers! Well the title speaks for itself really, I just can't decide on when to go! The original plan was always November/December 2013 (Christmas season!). However, I REALLY REALLY wanted to see the 20th anniversary celebrations. Seeing all the posts on here makes me even more excited! What I am trying to ask you is, how long will these celebrations last? A trip this year is completely out of the question, but if I knew I could catch them around the end of June next year I would consider postponing the Christmas trip for another time. BUT, if I could catch Christmas and the anniversary all in one that would be great!!! Please somebody reassure me! Thanks.

I don't think anyone knows yet, but I think it's unlikely that we'd see the full celebrations going on into next June.

However, I think it's fairly likely that the new parade will continue on for years to come.

As you've got a while yet until you can book your trip for next year, I'd suggest keeping an eye out for any furthe details about the 20th Anniversary celebrations and then go from there.

On a personal level, unless it was all of the 20th Celebration features that you could see in June, I'd still book for Xmas. For me, Christmas is the best time to visit DLP... just magical!

My thoughts exactly if the celebrations weren't to carry on, Christmas really does seem to have that something special! Especially as June would not even be considered summer season, so no extras at all. The only advantage could potentially be the weather but even that is not guaranteed, last time I went in June it rained everyday! Although, it doesn't stop you having a magical time! I know it's far off but we all need something to look forward to I guess! Just have to wait and see what happens as time progresses. Thank you!
