They're so cool!

We have 3 at the moment from what I know of. All girls.
One is from Germany I think, another is from Brazil and then the other I'm not sure about.

We're suppose to have 3 more guys coming just in a couple weeks as well.
One from Germany, another from Brazil and then I'm not sure where the other one is from.

The girl from Brazil is in my Geometry class and her voice is so awesome!

I'd love to be a foreign exchange student.
It would be absolutely amazing.
What about you?

Honestly, I wouldn't be able to do it.
I don't like being away from friends or family for a long period of time. I have seperation anxiety.

If I could go with a friend or family member, I'm all for it.

I'm not sure if my high school is going to have any this year.
As school hasnt started yet.
But my family is going to host one from Japan this summer.
Then when I get good at French we may host one from France :).

I would do it just to try something new, but I'd miss my family and friends like crazy!
I'm not sure if she was foreign exchange or just lived here, but in middle school there was a girl from iceland. I didn't hang with her and she didn't have my classes, but I still thought that cool.

I could never be a foreign exchange student. I love my school and home.
And my school wouldn't accept a foreign exchange student. We're not fit for it.

i love her

We have two at our school now. One girl is from Norway, and a boy is from Germany. They seem pretty nice.

I could never do it though, I'd be out of my comfort zone.

Lol.
She was very quiet and very nice.

Last year we had 2 guys from Germany.
They both already left, they were pretty cool.

Anyways, I'd love to go anywhere.
If I had to choose it'd be Japan.
That would be so amazing.

We have a few from Germany.
And recently got one from Ecuador.. and he is so cute! haha .. unfortunately he doesn't know much English. :p

They are so cool!

But I could definitely not do something like that. I'd be way too scared.. and I hate being away from people I know. It'd be really neat, but I couldn't do it right now.

I could never be a foreign exchange student. I'm what you call a "home-body". I hate being away from home and family for an extended length of time.

We have 3 foreign exchange students. There is one boy from South Korea and two girls from Indonesia. The girls are both in my American Government class. They are so adorable. :]

I've thought about it, but, I dunno. I wouldn't want to go anywhere other than France or an English speaking country. I don't really think I could learn a new language in no time.

But there are quite a few. I don't know how long they're staying, or if they've already gone back...
But last year we had..

One from Germany. She was really sweet and nice. I was friends with her for a bit.

One from Brazil. He was a swimmer, real smart. He seemed nice.

One from Denmark who was DELICIOUS =P I wanted him so badly, but he graduated.

And the first 5 months of school we always have kids from China. Tons of them. I haven't had classes with any, b ut they're always so cutely dressed and tiny and cute.

We have way too many from South Korea...and they all annoy me...but Freshmen year we had one cool one

My school is loaded with Koreans. I don't know why, but they move here for one reason or another and there's tons of them. They don't usually make friends with other kids, and they only talk in Korean to each other. The administration thinks their names are too hard so they rename them English names. It's so lame. This girl had such an easy name, and they renamed her Claira. I kept talking about her with her real name, and people got confused.
Then they'd go 'Oh, Claira?'
And I'm like. WTH?

Most of the Koreans live in my neighbourhood and take my bus.

We've got a lot of Asians in general. Most of them are first or second generation Canadian,b ut some of them just moved here.

Same here...but the only reason they came here is because it is easier here...and we rename them too...but mostly because some wanted to be Amreicanized. And they all are in little groups and talk only Korean even though most of them speak better English then some of us. And they all use their translators to cheat on tests.

And they are some of the bravest people I know. I would never be able to move to another country for a long period of time!!

Most of the ones I know, don't speak good English. One of them speaks very well, but the others... not so much.
I don't think any of them have translators here, I've never seen them. If they do, I haven't noticed, and it's probably because they're rather new.

my school does it to spain and france. i'd sign up in a flash if i could go to britain. i am almost qualified enough to do the spain one now, but i really wouldn't be comfortable speaking spanish all the time.
