Long story short, I return from my anniversary trip to Ireland a mere 8 hours before my flight to Florida to go on my annual fall cruise with friends. I’m sure I’ll have some amount (hopefully minimal) of pounds & euros left. I think I can take that to Guest Services on the ship to add to my onboard account. How do they calculate exchange rates? Are there fees associated? Seems like this would make more sense than bringing the foreign currency to the Travelex booths at the airport which charge a percentage to exchange. Our credit union does not exchange foreign currency so that’s not an option either.
