Ford E-350 Hitch Receiver

:confused3 I never left and I'm sure everyone likes to make fun of my opinions or views and it just shows how intolerant some people are of folks that don't agree with them that the only thing they can do is make fun of them with snide comments which just since my last post in just this thread proves at least in my mind the unfortunate "group/groupie" mentality that is rampart here on the Camping Board where folks have to try and fit in to be happy .... again ... So, So, Sad.

I don't often do what I'm doing now by even attempting to explain myself, but in this case Dave got some good info already and since this thread is not only in the weeds, but heading into the Swamp I figured WHY NOT at least for a few posts.

WHIP AWAY, this ADULT recognizes what is really going on IMHO.

PS thanks for the  which I will take as sincere and not sarcastic.

Larry

I'm glad to hear that you never left. I learned in high school that it isn't about fitting in. There is no such thing as "fitting in". We're just a bunch of (hopefully happy) campers, sharing what we love. What you need to realize is that everyone shares in different ways. That is what being part of a community is all about and especially what the community board is for. Folks like you provide information and folks like me provide comedic relief. Believe it or not, there is a room here for both. :thumbsup2

Don't worry, we won't whip you. From what I know about most of these folks (can't speak for them all), they aren't into that kind of "fun". That being said, I'm not giving up on you Larry. I know you have a lighter side. We all do. You just need to brush the dust off of it. You have my word that I will continue to post senseless happy **stuff** until I see it. I consider it my new mission in life. After all, if I got you to hug me, I should be able to make you laugh too! (does this work?):dance3:

I bet that if you tried liking us goofy folks for a bit, that you would find out that we weren't so bad after all... Come on Larry! Give us a LOL! I'll even break out my Captain EO bananas just for you... (If you don't get that one, read my TR. It's not a TCD report, but it has its moments. ;))

Now, this is no "Tom Foolery": will you please learn how to use punctuation as succinctly as you learned to do modifications to your trailer? We would all understand you much better, IMHO. Thank you.

Well to me I'm not writing an English HS paper or a Novel, but am basically "conversing" and I don't remember anyone when talking inserts commas, question marks, etc. into their conversation. I guess what I'm trying to say is to me punctuation is just not that important in this form of very informal communication and if one relies on that for meaning then :confused3. Finally, I've already admitted on more than one occasion that I can't spell, punctuate or shorten my run on sentences out of a very thin paper bag anyway:rotfl2:

Well you and I have different view on what the CB is for and I snipped your quoted post to only highlight where you view is very, very different than mine and for the record the following is what the mods say about DIS in general and in particular the CB sub forum here ....

The DIS is designed is to give Disney fans a place to share their experiences with each other, and to assist each other in planning Disney vacations.

The sub-forum is the Camping Community Board. Threads can be about camping (non-Fort Wilderness) or anything else -- as long as it's clean, and family-friendly.

I just don't see where the following posts in just this thread (it appears there were more silly posts, but with the block features I didn't have to waste my time reading them:banana:) about relocating a spare when installing a hitch on a particular vehicle fits any of those guidelines and are what I call Tom Foolery and only garbage up a thread that actually asked a real question and was seeking advice on this particular subject.

You know, whenever you put a hitch on, you need to make sure you use the right TOOL, I am sure Larry would agree!

My BIL has a similar rig and he moved his spare to Kansas City. I understand the spare likes it there........

You should just strap the spare onto the top of the van w/bungee cords. Problem solved.

LOL at Rob! The firefly Ray in the Princess and the Frog said, "Women like a man with a big back porch." Oops that was off topic and completely unhelpful. My bad.

Ah, but this time you are wrong! People use punctuation in oral communications all the time. It's called "voice inflection". If you don't use it, you are considered a monotone. The ancient Greeks didn't use punctuation in their written language, either. I guess that's why their civilization no longer exists! (Well, that, and the fact that their whole society was engaged in nothing but Tom Foolery):rotfl2:

Larry

But did you like the Captain EO bananas???

The DIS is designed is to give Disney fans a place to share their experiences with each other, and to assist each other in planning Disney vacations.

Part of the Disney Camping experience is the friendliness, jocularity and overall irreverence of the inhabitants of the Fort. It is important, and fun, to share this attitude and outlook on life with others!

I love you man! The otters, not so much because you won't share beer with them!

:dance3:

But did you like the Captain EO bananas???

Sorry to quote myself, but I think the bananas are really important and I wanted to drive this point home.

These bananas are special, magical bananas. They are not your average Disboards bananas. They are much better dancers because they trained in the 80's with Michael. If you watch closely, they even do the moonwalk.

You just wanted to say "jocularity"

I think there needs to be a big gorilla that eat the bananas.

Larry

I checked and rechecked...

Yep, this is the Community Board alright. The proper and appropriate place for Tom Foolery. It appears no rules have been broken. Whew!

I didn't know it was wrong to quote an actual Disney movie....on a Disney Board. Now I'm confused. :confused3 My bad again.....

Now that I have been officially quoted by Larry for my shenanigans...

Does this mean my poodle skirt and i are on an ignore list somewhere?

Speaking of Tom... Has anyone seen him lately? :confused3

He owes me twenty bucks.

Larry

When I was in the Army, a rampart was a sort of defensive wall.

Too much Tom Foolery, if you ask me.

Jocularity. Jocularity. Jocularity.

Two more posts and I will have 6500.

The neat part of being on Larry's ignore list is I can post and it's as if I'm not even here.
