Force Training on Fantasy

Force Training during Club open house. I have seen this in several Fantasy navigators. Is this the same as Jedi training? Do Star Wars characters appear? Every time I have seen them in the navigators they are always the same time as officers pin trading. Trying to decide which to do if that is the case on our cruise if it's offered.

No its not the same thing as Jedi Training. No characters - only on SWDAS day or during Jedi Training in the WD Theatre, though i think this only is on the Dream currently. Most recent navigator posted for EC on the DCL Blog does not show a conflict with pin trading on the last sea day.

We went to Force Training during open house on 7/15 Fantasy Cruise. The kids did get to use thier skills on 2 storm troopers. In fact, the only times our kids were in the clubs was during open house times. We saw Thor, Dr Strange, BB8, & the stormtroopers. So, yes, there was definitely characters there.

Was BB8 part of the force training as well or just another random time? My Son who is 5 has autism and can't go into the clubs alone so we plan on taking advantage of the open house times as well.
were the stormtroopers available for pictures with the kids as well or did they leave right after?

We did a late night openhouse (like 11:30) when we saw BB8. I believe the navigator actually mentioned BB8 meet & greet. The openhouse where we saw the stormtroopers was noted as Force Training it was about 7:30pm. The stormtroopers showed up about 1/2 way through and did not stay for pictures.
