Force Awakens overlay on Rock 'n' Rollercoaster

sorry i may have been confused i thought the discussion was Star wars at RNRC

Well it started there, but they already did it and it was a one night only thing. There's no plans for a permanent change, not even rumors. It doesn't make sense because of the location.

Which is why we moved on to the actual rumor which is a Guardians of the Galaxy re-theme.

I realize everybody is entitled to their own opinion, but I'm actually surprised that some people think this is a terrible idea. I love this idea. If you look at the similarities between RnRC and GotG, it wouldn't require a whole lot of work to make happen. The flashy colors that exist in GotG are already visible in the ride, so you could use quite a bit of those elements inside the coaster itself (aside from the Hollywood and Freeway theme. Take those out parts out and retheme to it to GotG). Have the Guardians make a cool intro to replace Aerosmith in the studio, change the music over to Awesome Mix Vol: 1, and of course, as other posters have said, change the ride vehicle. Not only that(and again, I realize everybody is entitled to their own opinion), but its Guardians of the Galaxy! It would be really cool!!!

Any potential RnRC retheme, permanent or temporary, that doesn't involve Iron Maiden gets a cold shoulder from me.
What about Queen? I'm pretty sure RnRC won't change but if Aerosmith was pulled from the ride, Queen would be a great band to replace them. You could replace the giant stratocaster outside with a giant Red Special, put up a replica of Freddie Mercury's statue in Montreaux outside the entrance, and have We Are the Champions play as you return to the station at the end of the ride, with the final destination being Wembley Stadium.

Seeing as it looks as Disney is trying to do some cutting back to save money for other venues, RNRC and TOT would be a great area to leave alone. IMHO!

I will point out if they do retheme to guardian's then it would be simple to change to starwars for events.
