Heard it is making some people sick and I have vertigo so I am a little worried :(

Never been on it but the Simpsons ride made us sick.

Then FJ will probably make you sick. I recommend taking a bonine or less drowsy dramamine the night before and then again in the morning before you ride.

And ... Forbidden Journey is best on an empty stomach. Plan to ride, then eat (and drink)! ;)

Yup thats what I do.. Turns you all ways and almost upside down.. BUT a great ride..

After riding FJ on the left and right side, I felt that sitting on the right side makes me feel sick. I wasn't sure if it was just me.

I really want to do it but I am getting nervous with the backwards thing !!!I LOVE Dinasaur at Ak and Soarin' at Epcot , had heard they were good comparisons !! But neither flips you back wards !!

It just rotates your bench so you are lying on your back for a very short period of time. Really not a scary thing.

simpsons and jimmy neutron were more intense for me. i had to take the bonine night before and day of. stayed cool & sat in the left seat.

last year i couldn't do it, my vertigo was so bad, the heat was intense & lines were so long that just going through the castle i had to exit.

so this year if i was able to try those other two rides and compare & have severe vertigo, journey can be done! :thumbsup2

Home videos and video games make me ill. Ugh but I can handle some roller coasters, soarin, etc. I was fine on Simpsons with my eyes closed the whole time. I love the Mummy though. I am afraid to ride EE because people complained about the backwards part making them ill. I cannot take bonine, only dramamine. Bonine makes me soooooo drowsy I cannot function. Will dramamine help?

I occasionally have vertigo, I can only do FJ once.....that`s more than enough.

I got Sick on The Simpsons, but didn`t find FJ as bad as that as I could walk off, unlike the Simpsons! I`m fine on normal rollercoasters usually.

I took non drowsy dramamine this year and I didn`t notice any difference to be honest......but that may just be me :confused3

What about EE? I love rollercoasters but I can no longer ride the ones that go upside down. Too afraid it will trigger vertigo. How is EE I heard the backwards part made people sick?

I haven`t been to AK in a couple of years but the last time I went on EE I was ok on it.

Did it 3 times in a row and after the third my head told me enough was enough.

At the backward bit I kinda held myself together with my eyes closed and it seemed to work.

I also take ginger tabs and nibble on crystalised ginger throughout the day...........it works for me anyway.

I'm done with riding EE. I get major headaches from going upside down on coasters. I also got a bad headache the last time I rode EE. I no longer can do EE nor RnR. I am fine on ToT, all of the Mountain rides at WDW, and Indiana Jones at DLR and Dinosaur at WDW. I am fine on the simulator rides, wasn't too bad on Simpsons. Can't do California Screamin' at DLR.

I went on Forbidden Journey and I was perfectly fine with that. That is, until the time I ate a HUGE lunch at 3 Broomsticks, then went straight to FJ. I went with the kids on the no-waiting single rider line. I was ok the first 3 rides (in a row), it was that 4th ride where I thought I was going to lose the lunch! lol.
