I know when Harry Potter first opened that I read your hotel card was only good once per day for the Forbiddeen Journey, is this still true?

my understanding is that if you have an on-site hotel room key, it is good for unlimited use for front of the line access to the rides with express line access...

however FJ ride does not have express access -- the other rides like DC, FOTH etc do have express accesss.

the express access pass that you can buy in addition to your tickets is valid for one turn through each ride's express rider line only.

Forbidden journey isn't included with express pass at all, so the keycard doesn't get you anything for that ride. Gets you into WWoHP early each day, but doesn't get you into a special line for that ride.

Sorry, there is no FOTL for Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey with your room key. You can enter WWoHP one hour before the park opens if you are staying onsite, but that is it. You still have to wait in the regular line (or the single rider line) for the ride. There is no Express line, and I did not see anyone scanning room keys while I was there.

There is also no Express line for the Ollivander's show.

You can use your room card to get Express/FOTL access for Dragon Challenge and Flight of the Hippogriff in WWoHP.

You could call Guest Services and ask if this is included in any of the VIP tours, but those are very expensive and I'm not sure FJ is included there either.

That was the talk just prior to the open of WWoHP--but it was never put into practice that I know of. PPs are correct, neither Forbidden Journey nor Ollivander's recognize Express, but Dragon Challenge and Flight of the Hippogriff do.

Thank you all so much for the information. I haven't been reading much about TWWoHP because I didn't have plans to go, so I am a little out of touch on what they ended up doing rather than what they actually did.
