Forbidden Journey for non-Harry Potter fan

We are staying at HRH (July 3 - July 6) and just want to ride FJ - not really interested in the shows or stores. What is the latest we should leave HRH in the morning if we just want to ride FJ - my family are not early risers. Also, from reading the many posts, it appears that we may have some luck at the end of the day around 8:30 PM? What are your thoughts?

if you do not want to see any of the world or shows or castle line then just get in the single ride line and you will only wait about 5-10 minutes. I would go after 2 ish that is when there is no longer a line to get into Potter world but it is very crowded by then so be prepared. It is a good ride and even as a non fan you will enjoy it. I rode with several teens who are not fans but have only seen 2 of the movies and they loved it. It has many surprises and good effects. Have fun

I've never been a HP fan but I absolutely loved the ride and the queue. I know my husband hasn't even read any of the books or seen any of the movies and he loved it too. (I had read the first book and seen the first movie.)
