If you book a vacation through AAA and use your AMEX card to pay for it can you get the White Glove Treatment? Do they know you paid by AMEX when you check in? I got a great rate from AAA $79 for CBR with the passes included at 10% off them, and I paid AAA with my AMEX card. Thanks for any help on this.

How did you get such a great rate - the best they gave me for AAA at Port Orleans was $118. That was through Disney itself & room only. I asked AAA to price it out separate for me room and tickets, and they were so obviously leaning me to a package that they said they "didn't do it that way." I got annoyed and started planning out my own trip.

Susie Dismom, I'm not sure how it came about, but our local AAA here in Montpelier VT was having special goings on for all last week for their 100th birthday and were celebrating Sat. along with Disney reps with lots of specials. I couldn't make it Sat due to illness and I told my TA that when I stopped in Tues to pay final payment she didn't mention any specials and I paid the $159 rate. Then when I got home she called and said she had found a summer special that was going on and rebooked me, not sure if she called WDW and they gave her the special or if AAA did it, I will check in with her and find out.
Oh, I do use AAA a lot and had mentioned to her that we would be looking for specials on a Disney Cruise and to keep me posted, I'm just not to sure of myself to plan it all separately have never done it but after reading all the post here I might give it a try next time;)

Interesting, Bobbidiboo. I was on the phone with my AAA at least 4 days last week, and there was no mention of special rates:( May be its because I was booking for November (are you going in the summer?) - I hope thats the reason or I would be   . If there is a special after my booking, do they routinely do an adjustment? I've never done this before on my own either - we've been there twice, and I went through the travel agent. My AAA agent has not been too helpful this time, and that is why I started looking into things on my own.

Special don't usually come out this early for November, which is probably why your agent didn't offer you anything. Check out www.mousesavers.com - the best site on the web for WDW discount info.

Susie, my agent told me the special ends in May and we are going May 6. She also was very good at getting me discounts, she rebooked me two times without my constantly checking with her:D I did book this vacation last June and there was no specials going on but when there was she would call and tell me that she had rebooked it at the special. So if you feel good about your AAA book now and maybe specials will come later? Or like rla5d says check out mousesavers they have good deals but I still haven't gotten the nerve to try and do a vacation all by myself.
