There is a reason behind this insanity!
We are currently booked at CR, we will be flying down so not likely able to pack an air mattress...but we have 5 in our family and RARELY are in our hotel room besides putting our head to pillow. We have 2 teenaged daughters and one 17 year old son. Problem is he is 6'3...he's also the most affable, easy going, can sleep on a rock kind of kid.
I just jokingly asked my youngest teen (and showed her the picture) if she would sleep on it since she is our shortest at 5'5. She said she'd love to! She's the one at all the slumber parties that combines two chairs together to sleep on rather than a sleeping pallet. But that would mean my son would need to sleep with my husband and i would sleep with my other daughter..uh, I don't think my son likes the idea of sleeping with his Dad...well, he does snore a bit
But, my son who is all Philmont trained (outdoorsy Boy Scout adventurer) loves the idea of sleeping on that little murphy bed!
I'm loving the idea that we could save $1000 more dollars by staying there! Is this crazy or have other families ever had to manage this for whatever reason? Just curious how small those murphy beds are once you put a body on it, all recommendations say no one over 9...but curious how many of you have put it to the test?
