For three bottles I found, these three I cast.

For one bottle , this:


Three bottles I found on flaps' shore
And noted much was said, and more:

For buried beneath the layered sands
that sifted through my opened hands
I saw

-being versed in how not to be seen -

the simple, the subtle and all in between.

For two bottles , this:

each tide leaves the beach all fresh and anew
and all that come later haven't a clue
a message in a bottle sent on it's way
has a better chance of being found one day
To find such a bottle would be a great time
made even more so if the message is signed.

Onefer, Twofer, Threefer cast
to waters now two ships have passed.
Summer Winds the sails have grasped:
As Time Goes By, Time spent is Past.

And glimpsing in the mirror, one
sees a swiftly setting sun
brings death of days barely begun.
Hourglass empties and all is done.

And glimpsing in the mirror too,
another sees One Who is True:
And whether sands are much or few
The Sonrise shines and Day Dawns New.

Turned now from mirrors to what's before
to sail for shores yet to explore:
Only memories linger. Each standing sure
walk away from the mirrors...

...And each closes a door.
