For those with puppies...

Well, that happens. :) Just quietly clean it up and move on. Unlike what they say in alot of these dog books I've seen, it is NOT the end of the world if your dog has an accident.

My sister was very concerned that if her new bichon puppy had one accident, they were going to have to start all over. It was incredibly stressful for her and not very much fun. It was also absolutely untrue. Her dog had a few accidents, but is now really getting the hang on where's she's supposed to be going. My sister has wisely put away the how-to books.

This is Belle, she is now 4 1/2 months old. She is a mini american eskimo dog. Our cats are still trying to get used to her.

we have a 7 month old rottie/lab mix. her name's jasmine. she's quite the handful!! but she's a joy to have around the house!

housebreaking was pretty easy with her. she's pretty well trained now. i need to get the pics from our digital camera to post...the only pic i have was from when she was just a few weeks old!

in that pic, she probably weighed in around 10-15 pounds. she's now 50! :p moosey dog!!

she's a good dog though, well, for the most part! ;)

I have 6!!!! Our "puppy" Belle, a Newfoundland, had a silent first heat at 9 1/2 months...so our other Newfie, Magic, found out before WE did! Lucliky my DH caught them in the "act"...both of the dogs apparently looked VERY confussed! I'm not sure who I wish I had a pic of My DH's face or the 2 dogs!!

We now have 6 roly poly balls of black & some white fur! At 2 1/2 weeks the largest is over 4 pounds already!!

Now for the hard part of trying to figure out which one or ones WE want to keep!

Stormi, your baby looks like my Snuggles did when he was little. He was a 25lb Spitz. I still miss him so much.

We have an 8 month old Toy Fox Terrier. She is a tri-color and she is adorable. I never knew I could love a dog so much! She is definitely my baby (now that my kiddos aren' t interested in that position!). Her name is Peppie.

We have a 10 month old pup named Charlie. We adopted him from a rescue shelter when he was 5 months old. He had been in 2 abusive homes before the shelter got him :( . He does have some people issues (men mostly) but he just loves kids. He's house trained/crate trained and is just starting to get on the good side of not chewing everything in sight up!He does like to chew though, and we found that old peanut butter jars work the best for him. Store bought toys are gone in less than 1 minute! He's our little "butthead" (that's what the kids call him)!

BTW, they said he was a terrier mix. If anyone can tell me what kind of terrier they think he is it would be neat to have an idea. He's a sweat pea.

OUrs is an 11 week mini schnauzer named Indy. Housebreaking is going fairly well, but not perfect yet:) I'm getting a little sad because we're going to Italy for 2 weeks, and he'll change sooo much while we're gone:(

Oh well, I just hope he remembers us (he's off to stay with his sisters at the breeder)

Pictures!

We have a 3 month old Great Pyrenees named Molly. She is already about 30 pounds  She is solid white with floppy ears. When she runs, she looks so funny and goofy :p
She is a very sweet girl. Whenever someone sits on the floor, she climbs up in their laps and lays down.
We are still working on housebreaking. She has probably had about 3 accidents in the past 10 days. You just never know when she needs to go. She has been taken out before and peed and then came inside and peed 10 minutes later.
She gave us a scare the other day when she got a piece of rawhide stuck in her throat. No more rawhide for her. Hopefully she won't start chewing on everything in our house now.

We have a 10 week old Boston Terrier. He is such a sweetie too. It's like having a newborn all over again. I'm still trying to get the photo up! Here he is!

Pat fan,
Could your puppy have a little Boxer in its make-up? Just a thought.

I suppose so....when the pound said "mix" I just figured anything and everything could be in there!

Our puppy is half PUG and half Cavalier King Charles Spanial. Its hard to visualize isn't it :teeth: He looks like a baby St Bernard. He's white and brownish red. He's about 14 pounds and won't get much bigger if any. His name is Ruben. Wish I could post pics

We have a 9 month old Golden Retriever named Keeper. She is absolutely the sweetest thing. She is crate trained, and housebreaking was a breeze!

Hey, I figured out how to add the pic! Thanks, EsmeraldaX!!!!

I have a 15 week old pug named Wally. He is just the cutest thing I have ever seen!!!
