For those with percussionists in the family

Just an FYI -

On our Thanksgiving trip, our son, James, found some multi-colored drumsticks with Rockin' Roller Coasted imprinted on them. He got them at souvenier cart near the ride. Makes a great souvenier and they were under $20.

These same drumsticks have caused a stir at school and his band director has had to ask him to put them away. I believe I am going to have to have him leave them at home from now on.

Lol! Our adult DD who is a professional drummer, bought a pair of those too!

My son has 2 pairs of those drumsticks!! He uses them every day in his band class!

We bought our DS14 the RnR drumsticks last year right after he and I rode it for the first time together. He's never had a problem in school with those sticks, although I think he mainly uses them for concerts only. On a regular basis he uses a pair of his other sticks. I don't think he'd have a problem if he wanted to use them everyday, though.

What was the problem at your DS's school???

DS and I saw those when we were there after we rode for the first time. I am kicking myself now that I didn't buy them,they would have made a perfect Xmas gift.

SeaSpray - they are just so eye catching with all the bright colors. They caused a "stir" during class so his teacher wouldn't let him use them. Of course, my son is a clown like his daddy, but a good clown, and the teacher has to put up with his occasional antics and maybe thought that this was just another time he was playing around. Yesterday, he had on a Santa beard in class.
