One very special BLUE Abyssinian:wizard:

I would love to see a pic, sometime! I love abysinnians! We have one Calico named Obi and a longer haired black and white named Sky. Both females, soon to become "its!" they are about three months old right now!

FancyPants is an amalgamation of grey, sliver, orange, brown and black. We rescued her from my mom's backyard two years ago and she has become incredibly spoiled! :p

She has a bobtail, as do most of her aunts, uncles and cousins.

Here she is incognito on my comforter.

We have a male tuxedo cat named Chloe. We thought he was a girl when we got him :)

Lily is a mixed grey and red tabby and Sasha is a calico with grey, white and brown.

By the way , calicos are always female- did you know that? :)

I have one BIG multi-colored cat. He's brown, black, gray, and white.

I once read somewhere that it's unusual to see male cats with more than 3 colors...if this is true, I have a very special kitty. :p

:cat:

We have 2 cats
1 male tabby brown white and black
1 female all white except a small spot of black on top of her head btwn her ears

Our kitten Simba is a tabby and he is grey and black with a little bit of brown on his belly.

I have a male Grey and white Tabby cat. He has a patch of white under his chin that goes down to his breast and down his stomach. He also has white paws. He's a very tall and long cat!

Actually there are male calicos, but they're very rare. Genetic abnormality actually.

"And are all calico cats females? Well, the majority of them are. For very complicated genetic reasons, it takes two X chromosomes for a cat to be a tortoiseshell or calico cat. A male would have to possess two X and one Y chromosomes to be a calico cat. This can happen, but very rarely. According to a study at the College of Veterinary Medicine in Missouri, one out of 3,000 calico colored cats is male. This oddity occurs in humans, too. The males, in both cases, are usually sterile."

Found that out when we got our Sam (female).

Also, calico is a colour combination, not a breed. I already knew that, but when we picked up our (then) little Sam the woman who had her said that she knew that one of her parents was a manx, and the other was a calico but she didn't know which was which :)

Fluffy...5 y/o male...orange, longish haired and kinda fat

Bootsie...3 y/o male...orange tabby but has white chest, belly and legs. Loves to have his white belly rubbed.

Then, there's Meeko...3 months, female. Mostly white but has silver/black tabby face, back and tail. White chest, belly and legs. Except for one black dot behind her hind elbow. Oh and she has a hidden micky that is black, just off the tabby part of her back, hangin into the white part.

And yes, the males are neutered and Meeko will be getting spayed soon!!

I have one tuxedo-colore cat (see my icon), and one who is all black except for a little spot of white on her belly.

I have 2 kitties

Chip is a grey and white cat. He is a short haired cat who is Huge

Midnight is all black long haired. Funny thing her stomach is black but is brownish underneith her hair in the sun.
