? For those with a MacLaren Triumph...

I know there are plenty of you out there with the MacLaren Triumph. I got mine because of all the wonderful reviews about it here on the Dis!! I must say, I am definitely not disappointed.

Here's my question... I am looking to get the organizer thingy that attaches to the back. I want to get the actual MacLaren brand product and I am wondering if any of you have this? If you put anything in it and take your child out of the stroller, does your stroller tip over? I noticed that mine tips over when I have my purse or something hanging from the handles. It's no big deal, the stroller is so light I just pick it up and grab my purse. I want the organizer for our WDW trip, but if the stroller will tip over easily with the organizer attached, I think that will defeat the purpose. I can always pack what I need in my bag. We are planning on doing the parks for only 3-4 hours at a time so I won't need to pack too much. I wanted the organizer to hold a couple diapers, some wipes and maybe a few small snacks like crackers or pretzels.

I have the organizer and I really like it. The only thing is it is small so I don't know if you would be able to put everything you wanted in it for the day. If you did get it all in- it will tip. That has nothing to do with organizer but just a fact of any lightweight stroller. YOu could stop this problem with buying tip me nots for the front of the stoller which are weights ( i use them at home when I am going to the mall and plan on buying a lot of bags worth of things- but don't travel with them). Or you could just have something underneath the stroller to put in the seat when you take your child out.

I have the organizer on one of my maclarens... I do like it... great for holding odds and ends! I have never had the stroller tip due to what was in the Mac organizer... U just have to be careful with heavy purses and stuff if they are on the handle bars... if that stuffs in the basket...You should be good! the weights sound like an awesome idea!! I havne't seen those!!
If you are looking for the mac organizer to hold a drink... imo... its useless for that... even if its just a water bottle... Forget a cup with a lid!

The best tip-free combination we have come up with so far is the Carry You Demi Milan (www.carryyou.com) and the Skip Hop Saddlebag (you could also get the one from Carry You, but we liked the cupholder and close better on the Skip Hop (www.skiphop.com). The Triumph still folder with the saddlebag on it and as long as we had some reasonably heavy stuff in the saddlebag we didn't have the tipping problem at all.

Yea, I have the organizer also. The stoller doesn't tip over if you put in the organizer what was intended. I tend to fil the organizer then put a bag over the handles also. Yep TIP!!!

But I love my Mcclaren and the organizer.
