I plan on booking our December 2013 trip and would like to try doing it on-line.

What time at the 11 month window can I book?
If you need to borrow points, how does that work?
Do you get a confirmation in the mail? e-mail?

At 8:00 a.m.

You can borrow points during the booking process. It is fairly easy, and guides you through, showing you how many points will be needed to borrow. You confirm the borrowing as you book. Very easy.

It will send you a confirmation email.

So, if you don't live in the EST timezone, plan accordingly. I remember staying up to 2:00 am in Hawaii to reserve my room for my June stay. I enjoyed doing so.
