For those who've done the wine tasting.....

Hi Beth, we were there for Nassau day on our 3-day cruise. It was myself and my cousin. We were sitting at the 2nd table on the guides left. I can't believe we didn't hook up. I'll feel really bad if you were the couple sitting right next to us.

Not right next to you, right across from you. We were on the right of the guide, there were 3 of us, me, Rick and Matt, The kid with the long hair. 3 pm on Nassau day. Right next to the guy sitting by himself who kept interrupting her. OH NO, so close

Like I needed more reasons after reading the threads about all the yummy food!

Is booking this event all part of "The Ressie Rush" when you 1st board? Does it fill up quickly for the 4-day on The Wonder?

We did the wine tasting on the 7 day Magic last month and it was a lot of fun. You don't have to drink all of the wine in the glasses! The trick at the end must be standard... gosh it was amazing. We want to try the trick now. It is funny to read about it on these boards. You would hardly know that the wine stewards do the tasting once a week. I thought we were special!

My DH decided not to finish his whites but to drink some of the reds that he liked that were left at the other tables. They must have poured for about 30 people, but only 15 showed up. So several of us stayed to finish leftovers at other tables.

Afterwards, the stewards immediately start cleaning up, bringing in a big bucket for the liquid remains. As we watched this, the one steward joked, "And you thought last night's Sangria was really good, wait until you try tonight's....."

We were on the Eastern this winter and we went from the wine tasting to Tea with Wendy with our daughters. We did have to leave the seminar early to make it to Tea with Wendy. We only had 2 slices of bread b/w the 2 of us. We had to chuckle that we were practilcally running down the halls to get to the "tea" with our 5 yr old daughters. Next time we will skip the tea

We aren't real big wine conosuiers (SP) and found we didn't like any other wine then the cheap stuff we get. We laughed because we thought the champagne was awful - that night we each had a bottle in our cabin from the "Captain of the bars". Our husbands had smoozed him during the day - actually had met his friend at the Ron Jon resort bar before we got on the cruise. We had fun and it was great to get away from the hustle and bustle of people...

Oh Gosh, I thought the champagne was the best of the 6! And the perfect way to end the wine-tasting! I am really looking forward to a bottle of it on NYE!

I loved the champagne too, and now I am kicking myself for not bringing some home with us. Guess it will have to wait till we go next year.
