My daughter was in a special soccer tournament for Labor Day/Columbus Day weekends and I wanted to get her coach alittle something to thank him for giving the girls the great experience they had. This was the first time our town was ever involved in this and I think it was great that this coach stepped forward and took on all the powers to be and made it happen.

The thing is I thought it might be good to get him something that had a soccer ball on it with Disney's logo. Can anyone who's stayed there and been in the gift shop there tell me if it's worth me making a trip to the store there to try to get him something.

This is a short trip and I would hate to waiste the time and come out empty handed. Your input would be greatly appreciated in what I might find there. I thought see how it's "sports" themed I might get lucky. I guess if all fails I could alway get him a baseball cap-he seems to wear them alot.

How about trying Team Mickey at DTD. They have lots of sports-themed Disney merchandise.

Great! We are going to DTD on Monday night and I'll check it out. Didn't even realize they had a store like that there. Last trip I just went into the big Disney store and the Christmas shoppe for ornaments.

Thanks so much for the quick response and great idea!!!

Or if you're going to Epcot, try the open air store in the Wonders of Life (I forget the name). Also, in MK, there's a store at the end of Main Street, on the left by Casey's. DH used to be a soccer coach, loved soccer stuff and they had stuff both places. Also, some of the countries in Epcot in WS did this past summer, but that was during the World Cup.

Thanks Simba's Mom - I'll be sure to try to find those 2 shops. I didn't notice much of those kinda suvies last trip, but I'm glad to see that it might not be as hard as I thought to find something.

There is also a sports oriented store just outside the gate of WWOS. I believe that I remember various sports merchandise represented.

This summer there was also a sports store/tent set up on New York street at MGM.
