Hi Everyone :goodvibes

Newbie here. Our first trip to Disney is coming up and we are staying one of our nights at the Nick Hotel. Doing it on a budget...and we want to book the 2 bedroom with 2 adults and 5 children (1 being baby in crib). The site says max 2 adults 4 children. We do not need a 3 bedroom just for baby, so if I just book it 2 adults 4 children...when we get there will this be a problem or can the baby sneak on in to our room where we can just set up the pack and play? or do they like guard the doors and count people? :rotfl:

Thanks for any advice.

It will probably be fine. Just don't bring the whole gang into the lobby when you check in. Once you check in, your room will be in one of several buildings, all of which have outside entrances. The place is huge and there are lots of people coming and going most of the time. They would never bother to pay attention to how many are in a room, unless the kids get too noisy or you do something to bring attention to yourselves.

Don't be surprised by the room sizes - they're fairly small. The master bedroom is average size. The bunk beds in the kids bedroom were built against the wall, and this was the width of the room. With the sleeper sofa opened up, a pack-n-play, and luggage for 7, there's not going to be much room to walk. But... you're not really in the room except at night....

We had a nice little set of new coloring books and markers stolen out of our luggage by housekeeping. (Who would have thought???) So, I recommend locking anything you don't want to lose (not just your valuables..) in the room safe before you go out.

Otherwise, we thought it was great fun! I think the exact word my kids used was "paradise"!

My kids loved this place! We also stayed only one night and they've been begging to go back ever since. I can't imagine you won't be able to sneak the baby in, I wouldn't worry about it at all. If you possibly can, do the character breakfast. We found it so much more fun than the Disney ones! We had SpongeBob, Dora, and the Fairly Oddparents. Cosmo kept stealing food and running around. It was hilarious! The food was pretty good. Oh, and the family picture with SpongeBob is priceless.

The rooms are QUITE small. We stayed in the 2 bdrm, with a single qn or kg in our room and bunk beds in the kids room. There is no door dividing the kids room from the tiny hallway, just a curtain. The kids room only really fits 2 kids and a crib comfortably. Unless you have another bed in the first bedroom, it may be a tight squeeze!

The couch in the living room is a pull out, so you should be fine. It will be cozy when everyone is awake and moving around. Although I'm sure with a family of 7, you're used to that!LOL!!
