For those who used cards & pockets, please help!

Hi Ladies!

I know a lot of you used cards and pockets and from looking at your pix, I loved the way they came out. My question is, what kind of information did you put on the inserts? I want to try to keep it at a minimum and only what is necessary. If anyone has any suggestions or pictures of what their inserts look like I'd really appreciate it. Thanks!

I'll post my wording when I get home, but until then here's some ideas. My 5 cards were "Our Website" instructing our guests to see our personal website for any FAQ's or more info. Transportation, telling about the bus schedule. RSVP (this was the 3rd card because of the envelope size), Accommodations and reception.

If you have found better rates or perhaps have a favorite hotel on Disney property that you would rather stay at please go ahead and book it.
Please call us with your reservation confirmation number so that we may include you in our group reservations.


Transportation

A motor coach will be provided to transport guests from the Wedding pavilion to the Boardwalk Inn and Epcot center

The motor coach bus will pick guests up outside their hotel, if you are staying at one of our selected hotels. The bus will transport you throughout the day and take you back to your hotel at the end of the evening!

Pick up will take place outside the hotel lobby by the valet service, NOT the regular bus stop. Times will vary by hotel see the schedule below.

To take advantage of this service if you are not staying at one of our resorts you must get yourself to one of the hotels by the indicated time.

Port Orleans – 1:45

Reception

Please join us for a reception
honoring Kristen and Robert
to be held at
The Living Seas Salon.

The celebration continues immediately following
the ceremony, and will last until 8:30 pm.

The Living Seas Salon is a private room inside
The Seas Pavilion in Epcot. A park ticket is
not needed to attend; therefore, all guests
must use the chartered buses provided.

Guests will be driven through a backstage
entrance into Epcot and will get a unique
behind the scenes view of the park.
Once the bus stops behind The Seas Pavilion,
Disney hosts will escort guests up to
The Living Seas Salon.

Chartered buses will depart at scheduled
intervals throughout the night and will make
stops at the main lobby entrances of the
All Star Music, Port Orleans Riverside,
Wilderness Lodge, and Beach Club Resort.

There is a lot! I made a whole website just for our wedding... to put more info I couldnt fit in the invites!! I included practically everything I ever asked our coordinator and event manager!

Thanks for your kind words! I made actual invite myself. It's was an invite kit from wilton called "the two of us" instead of using a picture of my DF and I I used I picture I had taken of the castle. Then I ordered the pocket floder from Gatsby.com they have several sizes and different ways they can open plus a large selection of colors. I just glued my invite inside. I printed the inserts out on pink cardstock and cut them to fit the pocket. The RSVP's came in the invite kit. Then I just added my crystal mickeys all over to give it some bling.

To make the monogram stickers I made up a monogram on the computer shrunk it down and printed it out multiples on a pink sheet of paper, then used a large mickey whole punch bought at Michael's then took the punch and ran it through a "Magic Sticker Maker" (no really that's what it's called) Also purchased at Michael's

The hardest part for me was finding a pocket folder to fit my invites. Since I already had them made and then decided that I had so much information to include that I wanted it to be organized and not just thrown into the envelope. If your starting from scratch this shouldn't be a problem through.

Oh WOW, cutiebug! Those are the most creative and beautiful Disney wedding invitations I've ever seen! I LOVE the colors you chose and all the personal touches are just wonderful!
