Just something to think about. People who may not realize that you are not new, spend time and energy welcoming you and encouraging you in a welcome post. How would you feel if you later found out that the "newbie" was not actually anyone new, but someone posting under an alias, for whatever reason? Personally I feel foolish and angry when that happens, so I'm asking nicely, obviously I won't demand it, but please keep the feelings of others in mind if you are thinking of posting under an alias.
Besides, inevitably someone will guess who you are by what you inadvertently let "slip" and then people get pissed off for feeling like they have been had. Then WE have to do damage control even if we don't want to because frankly, you are misleading people.
I'm not pointing fingers or naming names (and PLEASE no one do the same) I'm just saying, it's not nice, and please DON'T do it!
Thanks
CC

You, too?
Maybe Al Pacino, but not Al Gore!
I think I might've posted as CC already though.
