For those who have yet to buy Princess & The Frog (an awesome deal w/ Toy Story 1&2)

I just left Toys R Us!! For some reason their register knocked an extra $5 off. So I got PATF plus the 2 $5 deposits for $6.99!!! I haven't even looked at the rebates yet.

I went to our local Toys R Us and they didn't have any of the Blu-Ray combo packs for PATF. I was scared!! :scared1: So I asked an employee and he went to the back to get me one! I don't know what happened, but ended up paying $8.10 for the two $5 deposits on the Toy Story's and Princess and the Frog and the little free jewelery box, a little cheaper than I was expecting. Saved $35.98!! Can't wait to see what the total is for the 2 Toy Story's and see the free movie tickets for TS3!

Happy to share the deal with my friends!

Thanks again Shanan. Awesome deal. Ours was $7.97 with tax. Didn't get a jewelry box, but my son wouldn't have like it anyway. :lmao:

Just got back from Toys r Us.
They had no Princess and the Frog...they said everyone was coming in with coupons and ran out.
..so...

we bought "UP"
It was $19.99 less $15.00 coupon for pre order of Toy Story. Then there was some Disney promo that deducted another $4.99..

"UP" cost nothing!!!

We paid the two deposits for Toy Story 1 and 2.
Total cost today was $10.49 (with tax)
I have my 2 $10 coupons for Tuesday too.
This was fun...
Thanks for the info

I heard that they are taking the pre-order til 3/22...so you will still get $15 off if you pre-order TS1 and 2...and use the 2 $10 off coupons when you pick them up. I just don't know if PATF is off sale now. :confused3 Still a good deal!

The $26.99 sale of PATF at Toys R Us ended yesterday.

The ad starting today has the pricing for TS1 & TS2. If you buy only 1, they're $21.99, but if you buy both they are $16.99 each.

So, I've already paid the $5 deposit, subtract the $5 coupon, and I'm at $6.99 each. That's before any rebates or anything and not counting the free Toy Story 3 movie tickets.

I forgot...if I can find the case to our old TS1&2, that would be $10 off coupons, making them $1.99!
I googled it and found the codes for 1 & 2. I'm not home now, if you can't find it I will look when I get home....

Thank you for the information OP. A Great deal. I got The Princess and the Frog with the Kissing Frogs plushes and the two pre-orders for $7.34 yesterday. I already printed my coupons for Toy Story 1 and 2 so when I go back I should only have to pay about $4.00.

The cashier kept looking at the screen. He couldn't believe that the price could be so low for everything I bought. I was standing there waiting so I could pay and he says how did all that come to $7.34 so I had to explain about the discounts. LOL

I think the tickets for TS3 are inside the actual cases for the movie. :confused3

Also, I follow another savings blog hip2save and here is what she said about the coupons for TS1 and 2!

"As you may know, Toy Story and Toy Story 2 will be released on Tuesday, March 23rd! To get ready for this upcoming release you’ll want to print a couple great coupons. Just head on over to Disney Movie Rewards and login or register for an account. After doing so, enter this code 786936294507 in the orange box that states “Enter Code” in the middle of the right side of the page. You will then be able to click on a link to print a coupon valid for $10 off Toy Story Blu-ray / DVD Combo pack. After printing that coupon, enter this code 786936294521 to print a coupon valid for $10 off Toy Story 2 Blu-ray / DVD Combo pack!

..AND get this, not ONLY can you use these sweet coupons to score an awesome deal…. BUT each Toy Story Blu-ray / DVD Combo pack will contain a movie ticket (valued up to $8.50) to see Toy Story 3 in June!"

Just a side note: I love hip2save!

Worked perfectly. Thanks Shanan.

DW says she feels a little guilty. Like we don't spend enough on Disney already. :rotfl2:

Just went to TRu and bought tinkerbell price was 19.99 took the 15 bucks off preordered ts1 ts2 for $5 each and then my total was 10 something. I looked at the reciept and the TInkerbell movie came to zero dollars! I had read on other threads about tru taking an extra 5 bucks off at register and it worked:goodvibes

I just went to my local tru and they were out of patf. I am going to try the other one later and if I can't find it I will buy something else instead.

I ran to TRU as soon as I saw this, I am not sure if I did it right as my deal was not as good but it is still good so I am happy, but this was how mine worked. Wish I understood the receipt better though.
This is what it says...

Princess and the Frog $14.99
$15 off select item 34.99-15.00
Disney Promo 19.99-0.00
Disney Promo 19.99-5.00
Presell Toy 5.00
$15 off select item 5.00-0.00
Presell Toy 2 5.00
$15 off select item 5.00-0.00
Disney Promo 5.00-0.00
Jewelry Box 0.00
Vendor Coupon 10.00-
Subtotal 14.99
Tax 1.52
Total 16.51

So I am wondering, did I get the $15 off for preordering both? :confused3 The sticker price was $34.99 but I asked about it being cheaper online and he said it was ringing up $15 off but I am wondering if that was right or not or if they somehow didn't give me the $15 off for the preorder though the way it is broken down it looks like it. I think maybe it was not on sale and he was mistaken. I am not sure, but still, I basically paid $5 for P$TF on BluRay so that is great. I wasn't going to buy TS1&2 on BluRay since we have them on DVD and don't have a BluRay player yet but just the free movie tickets alone made it worth it and we will be buing one soon anyway.

Anyone see anyting I did wrong? Maybe it was just that the price went up being Sunday.

All the same.. :cheer2::yay::cheer2: I am happy with this deal, thanks everyone!
