UPDATE: Just talked my DH into staying at boardwalk, GF, or Poly if I can get the 40% off code. I thought never in a million years would he go for that!!!!

Yes I received this one two months before I received my 30/35/40 pin. Hope it happens for you too!

Just within about a week, I did everything I s'pose too. I got the e-mail you received and than about a week later I got my pin code!! Couldn't believe it! We upgraded to a deluxe also AND decided to stay an extra night!!!

I want this to be me!!! I finally have the green light to go all out and disney is making it sooo hard to upgrade!!!! I do tell every CM that I speak to that I wanna upgrade but I need to get a good promo to justify it with my DH. Do you think they note stuff like that? Hey Ill try anything at this point!!

I actually created an itinerary saying we were staying off site and got the pin, based on another post here. It worked...and quickly. Perhaps try that? We are going to celebrate my daughter's 5th birthday there in late October/early November and can't wait. Our first trip to Beach Club. Yeah!

What did you do before getting that email? Itineraries or saved packages? And if you did itineraries only, then which ones, and did you view packages but not save them? Sorry for all the questions, but that's what I did and I haven't gotten that email. Hopefully soon! Good luck getting a pin!

Try saving the packages and then go back and delete them. Stay off the website for a few days and see what happens.

I did the whole procedure on 4/18 (a Sunday afternoon) and received only one email from Disney Destinations on 4/20 (a Tuesday, around 1pm).

I told a friend of my husband's how to do the whole thing, now I'm waiting to see if he gets one. I hope he does, he'll then think I'm a genius! JK

I saved an offer then deleted it and within about 2 or 3 hrs I recieved that email so I was hoping it would be followed up by a sweet pin code!!

That's great that your husband's on board too. When I first started searching for the pin, my mom said she wouldn't want to upgrade to deluxe. Now she's so excited to stay at the GF!! Without these boards telling me about the pins, we probably would never have stayed there.

I know I would have never known!! I am so excited to possibly stay deluxe this time!!! I have stayed mod and value but never deluxe! I hope I get lucky soon!!!!!!

Well, I am keeping my fingers crossed for you because I know what it's like to want a deluxe so bad!! We have always had awesome luck with upgrades, so on this trip I am expecting nothing. Out of our four trips we've been upgraded twice....once we were s'pose to stay at the Carribeen and got upgraded to the Dolphin!! Last May we stayed at the Music. When we checked in all I asked for was a room close to the food court and the CM upgraded us to the Suite! Plus he gave my boys autograph books and pens!
So now that I have my pin and we were able to book a deluxe I am not expecting any 'extra luck" once we get there this time because it sounds like we got lucky just getting the code.
I got my "Explore your Disney Resort picks" on 4/20 and got my code 3 days later. I set up a whole different e-mail account, register under that, set up an iterenary, ordered maps, and DVD's.
If we didn't get the pin we were just going to wait it out to see what Specials they would have for December.....so hang in there...you never know!

I got the Welcome to Disneyworld.com email and then the White Rabbit PIN email. That's it.

I got the PIN after I created a new email account, registered under the new name on the WDW website, saved some itineraries, saved an offer and just poked around. I did this last Wednesday and got the PIN that Friday around Noon.

This was the first time I ever got a PIN. You never know when it will happen - just hang in there. Good Luck!

thank you so much for all the good vibes!!! I am soo hoping this email is a good sign! I just recieved another one in my DH name/ email about 2 min ago so I am really hoping good things are to come!!! I am so happy so many of my disfriends are getting lucky!

BTW myworldisjam, how do u get so lucky with upgrades? I didnt even get an upgrade on my honeymoon not that I expected it, at that point in my life I didnt realize disney did that sort of thing. you must be very lucky!!! Lucky you!!! This trip is for my mothers 50th bday so a nice upgrade would be nice but of course I am not expecting anything!! I just REALLY want that pin so we can stay deluxe for her bday!!

If you don't mind me asking...what pins did you guys get? There's a pin attached to my name, per a C.M., I never received an e-mail though....and I got a mailer yesterday...no pin...that was 30/35/40 is that about the best thing going?

For now it is. If you have it book something ASAP it seems like all the good rooms are going fast!
