We're just a plane ride away from you Dis'ers in the UK -- swine flu has officially hit Nova Scotia. However, we've also got another nasty virus going around at the same time. It has the same symptoms as the OP posted, but unlike swine flu there's a lot less gastro symptoms, and it started spreading around here at the beginning of June (a month before swine flu was found in the general population). The cough sounds horrible, and for most people it hung on for almost 3 weeks -- DD is on week 2. Even though it's not swine flu, it is still one to look out for -- I came down with pneumonia because of all the mucous in my lungs.

They're actually in the final stages of making a vaccine for swine flu here, so hopefully you'll get that before the actual virus spreads there.
