for those who have gone w/ a child under 1 yr old

i've taken both my kids before they were 1. my 3yr old had his first trip at 9 months, and my 9 month old has been at 4 months and at 8 months.

it is ten times easier to deal with her, than to deal with a 3yr old! LOL.

one thing i would suggest is getting your baby used to sleeping in a pack and play before you go. my dd wasn't used to it and had a very hard time sleeping, ending up in bed with us most nights of our trip (which i don't like at all).

i use a diaper backpack from eagle creek as well, it holds a lot and is fairly organized. i can fit stuff for 2 kids in here.

have fun!

DS was 9 months old on his first trip, I wouldn't trade it for the world. He loved every minute, was scared of nothing and slept like a rock. There are very few rides you can't take little ones on and you can always child swap on those. If you are taking bottles take the ones with disposabal liners.
