For those who have e-mailed Deb at Coral Reef

Please folks something to remember.....this is one busy gal! How many requests for dietary requirements, requests of all sorts for birthday's etc! This is one person!

I hope that they do not cancel doing this due to too many requests or people constating calling and emailing. Debbie is a wonderful lady and not one penny gets sent her way for all these FREE EXTRA'S!

FOR ME, WHEN SOMEONE IS DOING SOMETHING FREE OF CHARGE I GIVE THEM PLENTY OF TIME AND SPACE!

I just hope this FREE EXTRA!! Does not get cancelled due to the great demand on her time. In the midst of her managerial responsibilites!
 
If you are looking for her e-mail because you lost it. Call and leave a msg that includes your e-mail address. That way she can return the call at her convenience. If they have voicemail I'd call well after close or way before opening. That way the msg is waiting for them w/o interferring with taking care of in restaurant guests, preparing for the day or closing and getting home for the night. These requests are high prority on this end, but really extra on the restaurant end of things. There is no extra revenue generated for these requests, yet it takes a lot of time on their end, try to be flexible and patient.
 
Hi - Can anyone tell me how large an e-mail is too large. I sent my e-mail a few weeks ago but didn't end up hearing anything back. I sent 4 pictures and the e-mail was 2 MB total.

:confused3 Not to butt in...But why are you doing this? We are eating there for our first time this next trip and am wondering if we are missing something. Did the food go downhill??

I believe everyone is talking about the option you have at Coral Reef to have one of the hostesses (? Debbi, or I talked to an Yvette) prepare and print a personalized menu for your meal there. They will print a message and up to 4 photos if you email these to them in advance. I had called to try to reserve a diver and banner during our dinner. These were all booked up but Yvette told me about the menu option. I emailed her, then when she didn't respond emailed back inquiring if she received them and she wrote back right away to confirm. What a great little touch and we are excited about this dinner! Here is the number I called:

I finally e-mailed her to see if she got my e-mail and she said no. It was too large so it just didn't go through but I didn't get an undeliverable e-mail either. I resized my photos and sent them again and she did return the e-mail to say she received them. If you didn't hear, I would send it again.

Oh thanks for your post, I did email her to confrim about getting the pictures, I never thought about size of the emails.

I spoke to Yvette and emailed her and got it all arranged,but i've emailed her twice since concerning birthday cakes and not heard back.That was 3wks ago.:confused3
 
Alltiggeredout - I spoke to Yvette too, but I think I wrote down her e-mail address wrong because it bounced back to me. I tried four different ways of spelling everything and 3 of the 4 bounced back. Would you mind if I PM'ed you the one that didn't bounce back to see if that is what you have?
 
When I sent her my photos back in May for our upcoming trip in November, she emailed me back to confirm that she received all of the photos. Because of the jpeg size, I had to split up the photos and send them in mutiple emails. She told me that she received all of the photos. I was also able to book the diver as well. I guess it paid off booking so far in advance. Can't wait! :woohoo:
 
The Fidge makes a good point.. if the requests get too overwhelming, the whole thing could end. Or at the very least some sort of "charge" placed for diver time, menu preparation, etc.
