Do you get significant savings on the campsite, & are your savings comparable to an AP discount? Any info would be appreciated. Thanks.

We have AAA but have booked our past 2 disney vacations (FW 2004 and disney cruise 2006) through Sam's club travel. We always went to AAA about a week before our vacations to buy our park hopper passes though. AAA is worth having if your driving a long way!

We usually always get discounts with our AAA card. You can also save 10% using your AAA card at most stores and some restaurants at Universal Studios/Islands of Adventure.

We will be at Ft. Wilderness October 7-14. I orginally made reservations for a full hook up and was quoted a rate of $335.58. The next day I saw a post on these wonderful boards that someone made reservations and got a AAA rate at Ft. Wilderness. I called them back and changed my reservation to reflect the AAA discount. I am still booked in a full hook up and was quoted a rate of $265.00 including taxes. So, that is a savings of $70.58, that would more than pay for a basic membership to AAA. Good luck

Ask for a AAA discount when renting boats by the hour at the Ft. Wilderness marina. You have to ask and I think the discount is 15%.
