We're coming over from the UK on the 16th. Will it still be cold or are we going to get some water park days? By the weekend we're heading down to the 30's over here (20's with wind chill). I cycled to work in shorts today but it was 50.

It's predicted to be cold that weekend.

I'll be there that time as well and I'm excited for some chilly weather finally

Yes it’s crowded though it’s been manageable. Wait times at MK today were slightly ridiculous but it wasn’t a Party day so I was expecting it. We still got a lot of rides in

Looking at the Accuweather forecast I'm liking the "chilly" weather forecast - it's all relative to our normal weather at home I suppose

I don't know if you have much better weather people in the UK than we have in the US, but we're lucky if they get it right the day before they forecast... never mind 10 days out!

Nonetheless, they are predicting

16th - hi 71/low46
17th - 72/50
18th - 76/56
19th - 76/53 rain
20 - 76/58

The UK Weather forecasts are generally good (the forecasts not the weather) they usually go for the safe bet by saying it'll be cold and wet, although the temperature difference between the South (London) and North (where we are (250 miles away) can easily be 10-15 degrees f.

Layers will be your friend, and can be reconfigured to any temperature. I bring capri pants and jeans, short sleeve shirts, long sleeve shirts, and a couple different weight jackets. Bring a rain poncho or two, as they can be great wind blockers when it’s cold and windy, and as the fronts come through you could have a rainy day or two. Welcome to winter in Florida!

I’ve been three times over the years when the temperature has dropped to around 32F. While I prefer the warmer winter trips I’ll take the colder days over the rainy days. I can dress for cold, rain, no matter how hard I try, I still get wet. We’re arriving Sat. evening, so hopefully the Sat. rain will be over.
