Did you have to be checked out by 9/27 or checked in by then?

We didn't book when we were there in Jan (kicking myself now), but we'd like to check in on 9/24 and out on 9/30. I can split the ressie if necessary, but I'd rather not obviously!

I'm trying to decide which meals to book when in order to have the big dollar ones covered - LOL!

you had to check in by then... it's length of stay....but we went for early month because rates are higher for october than september

We're in for 9/27, wanted to come in day earlier and I was told we couldn't NEVER realizing that I could do a separate reservation, I can't believe I was NOT thinking clearly about that one and CM NEVER said anything. Oh well, it is what it is!

My neice is checking in on the 27th and out on Oct 7th with the bb free dining. If anyone has an existing bb free dining ressie, you can call to modify the dates as long as you check in by the last day it was available. No telling if things will be the same for the GP promo since others have said that policy changed in Jan 08. We booked in 07 so the new policy, if it does apply, didn't apply to us. For those who booked bb checking in on the first day available, Aug. 30, if the GP promo begins earlier in August you can always cancel your existing ressie if the dates included with the new promo are earlier and more desirable for your family.---Kathy

We were at WDW at the very end of the bounceback promo..Oct. 10th. We called right away and requested dates at the end of the stated promo (end of Sept.) At that time, the CM said we could not book free dining past the ending date of 9-27-08. When we got back home, about 2 weeks later, I called to extend our ressie from 3 nights to 8 nights, and once again tried to book into Oct. The CM on the phone, once again, said WDW new policy would not allow free dining to extend outside of the promo dates.

I have seen many people who were able to extend free dining into Oct., but also alot who were not able to extend. I am wondering if the lucky posters got their free dining ressie prior to the "new policy". I guess we won't know until this Sept.

We booked our BB free dining on Oct 8 or 9th I believe. I never received an email with our new confirmation # so I called about 2 weeks after we got home and they sent me an email and a letter. both state that I have the free dining for the whole vacation , I feel bad for those that were told they could not get it into Oct.
