For those on Dining Plan: How much did you spend out of pocket?

We paid for breakfast OOP because it's always the cheapest meal of the day. The meal plan gave us so much food we were seldom hungry in the mornings, anyway. Just coffee, juice and cereal or a piece of toast held us til our first huge meal of the day. We did use one counter service for breakfast, just so it wouldn't be wasted. Anything (we chose breakfast platters) was included as the entree, plus a piece of fruit as the dessert.

Our main goal during our Thanksgiving week trip was to avoid lines as much as possible. This meant being at the parks by 8:30 every morning. AND then eating lunch at 11:00.

There was simply no time, for us, for a big breakfast. We, had by 11:00 each day done every "Must see-long wait" ride in the park we were in and had obtained a FP to go back to a favorite.

Thus it was a very quick cereal and milk and fruit b-fast in the room.

This is what me and my daughter did: We shared our breakfast (it came with like 5 pancakes and bacon (more than enough for us) and then I purchased an extra milk (or hot chocolate). We shared lunch (I remember at Tusker house it's like half a chicken, mashed potatoes and vegetables, we couldn't finish it) and then if it was pizza for lunch, it was more than enough for us, and if we did get a burger we got a double burger with an extra bun --that I wanted to pay for but they said, that's ok, you don't need to). So, all in all, the only extra money we paid out of pocket for was for the extra drink in the morning and if we wanted something different for a drink at lunch as well. Maybe $20 at the most:) And then we both had our table services, so we did eat 3 x a day, but not as much.
