We got to see Titus yesterday for the first time in months. He came and had dinner with our family and spent the evening. He is doing so much better than he was when he got home from Iraq. He will be out of the army at the end of this month and he seems so much more like himself now. Not exactly the same, I didn't really think he would be, but he appears to be happy, mentally healthy, and looking forward to his future. I'm just so glad. My dh and I really love that boy and we almost thought of him as a son. When it all fell apart for him I think we grieved and worried ourselves nearly as much as his family did. I'm guessing we won't see too much of Titus in the future since he's moving about 5 hours away at the end of the month but it sure was nice to have this reunion and to see for ourselves that he is fully on the road to recovery.
