and then got an email code/postcard code- How long after receiving the DVD did you receive the code? Just wondering if there is any correlation or if it is just totally random Thanks!

I actually got mine before the video - it said the video is on the way, in the meantime here is a code for 20% off type of deal.

I ordered the DVD (and priced options on the reservations site and got a Disney Visa) last July. Then I booked my vacation.

My code came in January.

I ordered the DVD about 3 weeks ago and got a PIN postcard today. DVD still hasn't come though.

Too bad I can't use the pin.

I ordered the DVD for the first time about 5 years ago and I'm still waiting for my pin. I've ordered two more since then - still waiting on those pins too. Don't count on getting a pin just because you order the DVD.

I just got my pin code a couple of days ago. I ordered the DVD about 10 days ago and used my daughters name since we have ordered one in the past. The code was clearly tied to the DVD order - it came in DD's name. It is not a great offer though - 20% on selected dates.

When I ordered the DVD it asked when I was planning; I put November and the Pin was for a bunch of dates in November and a couple of weeks in December.

This was my first DVD order but my 16th trip to the World. All these years I could have gotten a pin But then again I never new about them until I found the Dis!

We order a planning dvd each year. In fact this year, we ordered 1 in DH's name in Jan and 1 in my name in March. No code yet for any year.

The only postcard/code/email we have ever received came shortly after 911, and we had never ordered any type of Disney info! It was for very discounted Value rates only.

We have since (well for the past 3-4 years anyway) ordered (both in DH and in my name) the DVD's (at least one per the two of us every year), custom maps, DVC info (DH only), ect... as well as having stayed in 2007, and booked for 2008, and we have never received any offers/codes! DH also is on the email mailing list for newsletters, and both he and I are members of the Movie Rewards Club. He also has a Disney Visa. We have even telephoned several times to see if codes were perhaps attached to our names (they were not)!

I feel it is totally random... simply luck of the draw!
