For those of you going in October.....

have any packing lists or tips you would like to share???? Would love some tips or advice......it will be me, my DH and my 2 yo DS and we are going the first week of October????? Never been in October before and just curious if I should pack just the same as if we were going in the summer???? TIA

I've gone twice now and we were never cold. I can remember Halloween trick or treating and sweating in our costumes at MK.

You may want to bring one sweatshirt just in case and maybe one pair of pants but I really don't think you'll need them.

It starts raining less in October but I'd still bring the ponchos.

October weather is wonderful, one of the best months to go weather-wise.

We are going for a quick trip from Oct. 19-23. I have heard that it isn't cold yet in Oct. but was wondering is it still warm enough to swim. Wasn't really thinking water parks(won't be there long enough) but the kids would love to be able to swim in the hotel pool. Thanks,

Although anything is possible with weather, I would most likely think yes. I live about 3 hours south of Disney and I can't remember a time it wasn't hot on Halloween. There have actually been years where it was sweltering and my dd couldn't wear her costume.

We have been several times in October, usually at the end and into November and maybe once have needed a sweatshirt (on the boat ride from POR to DTD). We have always gone in the pool and never been cold. Also it is not very rainy. Maybe a quick passing shower. This year we are going the first week of October. I just hope the hurricanes stay away!!!!
