Should I change any of them to breakfast? I heard the parks are less busy early in the morning so we wanted to take advantage of that and not have to be eating somewhere and then hit the parks at the super busy times??

I am a little worried about the crowds. Have you (or anyone else) ever gone this time of year before? If so, how was it? I am a little nervous about the crowds because when I called to book the trip and add the deluxe dining plan the CM told me that there is a free dining promo during that week. So we are only paying the difference between the free basic dining and the deluxe plans. Which is nice, don't get me wrong! Do you think the dining promo will make the crowds larger?

I have never gone during free dining before, but like I said this is honestly the ONLY week we can go without affecting lacrosse, football, and cheering. How sad is that! Our kids rule our vacation schedule! Oh BTW, we are staying at the YC.

We're going May 7-14. No DDP for us, but apparently that didn't stop me from making an ADR for almost every day of our trip, haha. Here is what I have as of right now.

May 11 - Crystal Palace breakfast
May 12 - Kouzzina dinner (don't know if we'll keep this one, I want to try it but not sure)

I am re-thinking the CP breakfast though. I might try to move it to the 8th, our first full day. I was hesitant to do a character meal first thing because I'm not sure how DD (who will be just turned 2) will react to them. But having CP booked on the 11th locks us into repeating MK that day (no hoppers). I already KNOW we want to do MK the first day. Planning a Disney trip is hard when you're so indecisive!

We have gone the week before Memorial Day weekend as well and found the crowds to be extremely light...with the exception of the opening of Star Wars weekend in DHS. I was more worried about the Memorial Day weekend crowds than I was the free dining crowds. According to the CM I spoke to when I booked our trip, free dining is being offered different weeks throughout 2011 and she said that more will likely be added as the year progresses. I just didn't know what to expect with the holiday weekend crowds. Thanks for your help!

We (me, DH, DD8, DD4) arrive at Pop Century May 29th (early morning - driving from Central Texas) and check out June 3rd. Deluxe Dining Plan. Lots of food, but we love Disney food and a nice break in the air conditioning - plus all that walking sure works up an appetite. We do a pre-rope drop character breakfast each morning to get us up and going!

Sunday 5/29 - Hollywood Studios (hoping for Star Wars Weekend - DD8 loves SW)
B - Hollywood and Dine (if we make it early enough)
