at Meijer today for $49.99 for the shelf with drawers. Not cheap, but it's really cute and neat. The drawers are containers with lids that come out and each one has a cute Lego head on them.
They also had the drawer containers sold separately for $6.99 each and some square containers with no lids with wheels and others that just had lids and were bigger.
The drawer system came with 2 large green building plates and a slot on the top of the container that will hold a platform so you can build on it.
The individual boxes come with one green building plate each.

I might just have to order this. We've been trying to figure out how to organize the legos.

I am saving for two of these. Or trying to figure out how to make a similar one. There are progressively smaller grids or screens in the bottom of each box so the larger legos are at the top and the smaller ones filter through to the bottom.

Were these in the storage section with the rubbermaid bins?

At our Meijer they were on an endcap near the storage bins. It was literally across from the toy aisles and that was why we saw them. We had just finished walking through all the toy aisles and I spotted them.

My son got one of these for Christmas. I was far more excited than he was for it, and actually fit almost all of his legos in it. Then, two days later, DH's mom sent a huge container of his original legos to our house (yes, they cost a fortune, but last forever!!) I think this box will become a part of his legos, as in, when he's building, he'll use it to sort through pieces. Another tip I am taking from my MIL is having him throw an old sheet out to play his legos on, so when he's finished, we can just gather up the sheet and drop the pieces back into storage.

Here's a question for the two posters who have this storage system: is the shelving "tower" sturdy or is it kind of wobbly? It sure looks very cool!

It is made like all of the plastic drawer bins you find. Not super sturdy, but as sturdy as this kind of plastic can be.

That is cute! We got my sons each one of those cases from Meijer for Christmas. They come with one of the large green sheets to use as a base, too, for $6.99. Otherwise, they just have about 3 of those large, white storage containers with small drawers to put all their junk in. Of course, that doesn't mean they make it back into the drawers, but... ;)
