The Fort Worth Star-Telegram had an article today on the lenders shutting down Fun Time RV in Cleburne, TX (a suburb of Fort Worth). http://www.star-telegram.com/2010/05/16/2193214/shlachter-co-lenders-shut-down.html. They are listed in the article as the largest-selling towable recreational vehicle dealer in the US. GE Commercial Distribution Finance provided the primary floor plan financing. I have no clue how you would find out how the tt's are being sold. Sounds like deals could be had once they go on the market.

Most bank floor plan contracts require the manufacturer to take the units back. They will probably be sold at a discount but not by that dealer. The manufacturers will try to find another dealer close by to buy the inventory.
