for those just back how bad were crowds at Christmas

Planning our first trip for Christmas week 2015. What are crowds like compared to Disney at Christmas. Staying on site so we will have early entry and fotl. Just didn't know what to expect. Do parks ever close due to crowd level?

Much like Disney, it is extremely busy ( all Orlando themeparks are that week).The parks can close to capacity too, but not as often as the Disney ones do.Staying onsite and having express passes will help tremendously

We were there this past Christmas 12/22-27. I thought the crowds were manageable especially with express pass. When we felt overwhelmed we just went back to hotel and came back later. I am not aware that the parks closed to capacity while we were there. It really made Christmas this year.
