What are the general masses of people doing as far as booking for Oct.
Jet blue is 99.00 each way, SW has not released Oct yet.

I can't decide to book the 99 each way or wait and hope for something cheaper. Usually 99 would be great but since last year we booked a real spur of the moment trip when we got 29, 39 DINGS now I am being greedy and hoping for something real cheap.

Oh me oh my what should I do ? :confused3 .

Only Southwest flies of out Providence. I had been looking to fly from PVD to MCO in May and when Southwest first released the prices it was $109 each way:confused3 ; just this week they lowered the price to $59.00 each way:cool1: . So I would wait a little longer. Somewhere on this transportation thread is an estimate as to when Southwest will release their dates. Then if you overpay you can always get a credit for future trips

I would hold out for SW - it's a cazillion times easier to fly out of PVD than Logan, that's for sure!!

we have flown both SW and Jet Blue many times. If we fly out of PVD then we park there if we fly out of BOS then we have my parents drop us off, so as far as parking it is not a problem.
I am one of those people that hate the way SW boards I prefer JB but will fly whichever I get the best price.

I guess I will have to wait and see what SW has, more than likely ( I hope ) that I will be able to get something cheaper than 99.00

Actually that is not bad $99.00. SW has been running pretty high in price. If you get a ding or internet fare it's great but $99.00 isn't all that bad.

Man, do I have "fare envy!" The cheapest out of PVD to MCO for June is $200 one way right now on SWA! :scared1:

We have flown SW out of PVD at least 10 times in the last 3 years and I don't ever remember paying more than $69 each way. In fact It may be more like $59. We've also gotten Dings for as low as $44 each way. The other bonus for us is we typically take the last non-stop flight of the day out of PVD and MCO and they always seem to be the last to get filled which makes the Ding even more likely. To me $99 each way seems outrageous.

I booked my JetBlue flts for Oct. yesterday, I'd rather take the risk that flts may go down then have them go up and have to pay more.

I gotta go with Ed on this one. I'll book a flight when I see a price I can live with, and take any decreases as gravy.
