for those flying to orlando with a stroller...

just wanted to give parents a heads up so this doesn't happen to you....
we were at the back of the airplane and things were hectic by the time we got off the plane and gathered our strollers. my husband grabbed what he thought was our stroller and i grabbed our 2nd stroller (no other strollers were there at this point). we got to the hotel and i began pushing the stroller my husband had initially grabbed at the airport. well, the stroller was broken, impossible to push, filthy and had gum in the cup holder~ it was not our stroller, but the same make and model in much worse condition. we were stuck with a broken stroller while someone else had ours (which had our name and number on the tag). so LOOK CAREFULLY when you get off your airplane so that this doesn't happen to you. of course, we couldn't reach anyone at the airline at that time of night and no one could help us when we returned to the airport to head back home. otherwise, we had a terrific trip.

Another reason I love the stroller bags. It keeps everything clean and in good shape and also it also keeps others from mistaking yours for theirs.

Same way everyones black luggage looks the same, lots of similar type strollers.
We always uniqiuely mark ours, once pink duct tape, cut out luggage bags all marked up, We even used luggage straps to close. But always READ your name card!

did you have trip insurance that would cover the loss?

That's one of my worst travel gear worries, I can get new clothes but can't always find the perfect stroller spur of the moment. So sorry that happened! I bag ours always. Ususally we're waiting for it to come up tho twice I've had pilots forced to get them since they can't leave the plane till we do.
