When I spoke to Delta on Thursday...I was inquiring about bringing a CD player and gameboys on board. The lady came back on the line after speaking to her supervisor and said that yes they could be brought on BUT be absolutely sure they work when you get to the security checkpoint.
So folks....a big tip...BE SURE you have fresh batteries for all the electronic devices because my guess is if you get to the gate and it won't play, they have the right to confiscate it from you right there.......and that would not be pretty
Also, in case anyone has a child with asthma: we never travel on vacation anywhere without my son's nebulizer machine. I have always carried it on for fear of the airlines losing it somewhere and its about a $300 machine to re purchase. I got a written note from the doctor to take with me this week explaining what it is and why we should carry it on (if fits in a backpack with no problem) because I got to thinking if they turn it on...how would they know what the heck its supposed to do (help ya breath).....
hope these tips help someone...
