Unfortunately we are not heading to the Port..but we are headed to ORL Friday morning at oh dark thirty....so I think we are going to leave an hour later and hopefully they will have it cleared by the time we get there..around 10-1030 or so. Of course, every time we go to ORL...we have to sit in some type of highway repair on one side of JAX or the other.

Is it better to go thur Jacksonville on I-95 or go 295 around Jacksonville. I will be getting to Jacksonville around 11:00 a.m. Saturday. Thanks Randy

Everyone also please be aware that I-95 is undergoing a major 6-laning project in St. Johns County, just south of Jacksonville.

The road is being widened and resurfaced the entire 32 miles of the county simulataneously.

No lane closings (yet), but it is real tight. Traffic is still moving, but of course, people are driving too fast for the conditions.

Be careful & keep your eyes open and your head on a swivel.

We have been traveling to ORL since we moved to Hilton Head in
1982.....and they haven't finished I-95 yet!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Jax is always a pain in the _ _ _. When we get past Jax, we feel like we are practically in ORL.....
