I had a friend that did a trial for prevention magazine
they gave them pedometers
she had to start out at 10,000 steps
increased to 12,000
and the goal was 15,000 per day
wow sounds like a lot to me
but I've never counted so I don't know
Thanks for your response. I was always told for weight loss you need to do 10,000 steps and some days that is hard (I have a desk job), but I go out of my way to reach that goal. I am not sure I would be able to reach 12,000 or 15,000 daily....maybe I need a new job!
i can reach 7-8,000 with my daily walking
when i add on 1/2hr walk outside i can reach 10,000
when im being good (like yesterday) i can reach 14
i think the highest ive gotten to has been about 17? on a wknd when i had time and the weather cooperated
