For those back this week...how were the crowds?

I was there Nov 2-5th and the crowds were bad(IMHO). Food and Wine Fest., Jersey Week, tail-end of Halloween, displaced hurricane vacationers. How 'bout these past weeks...anybody?

The first and second week of November the parks were crowded. This week has been wonderful! The week before Thanksgiving is always good.

Tuesday Nov 16th at AK and Wednesday the 17th at MK were very pleasant. The longest lines I saw were 20 minutes. The fastpass machines were closed at many locations. The ones that were open had return times of less than 1 hour. We did zip over to MGM for DS to see Playhouse Disney and it had a long line about 20 minutes prior to the starting time, but everyone waiting got in.

It seemed much less busy than our 2003 trip during the first week of December.

I just spoke with my friend who was in Disney from November 10-15 (Veteran's holiday & wknd) and she said there were very little waits for anything. She said the longest wait they had was waiting for a trim at the Main St. barber shop. She did say that the buses back to the ASM were quite crowded however and wondered where all the people were when inside the parks as it didn't feel crowded at all. She was quite pleased and also said the weather was fantastic - low 80's. Sure hope we get that weather for our Christmas trip.

Hi,

We were at the Poly from 11/10-11/17. The only big crowds were at MK on Thurs, 11/11. Probably due to Extra Magic Hour and the holiday. Other than that, crowds at Epcot, MGM and AK were very light (we stayed at the hotel pool on Saturday for a break and to avoid crowds). The previous poster was correct about the weather too, clear and warm with only a couple of showers in the evening.

We are very spoiled since we have been to Disney only in November, and have never experienced the really big crowds at other times. We are used to walking on the big rides and attractions sometimes a few times in a row! Much to my 2 ds delight!

We were there from Nov. 1- 15th and it was very crowded, but I loved it! I've never been before so I don't have anything to compare to other than Disneyland, since I grew up in CA. We never had long waits for any of the rides, and did everything we wanted to do. I guess there were times when some of the bigger rides had long waits, but then we just fastpassed it, so it was never a problem. Worse was navigating through the crowds at times. I had spent more than a year getting a plan ready for us thanks to all the great advice on these boards and tourguidemike, but when we just winged it really. However, all the planning was great fun, although next time I'm sticking to it!

We even ended up at MGM on day one of Super Soap Weekend. I kept saying, this is so against the plan! That was the one big dumb mistake we made, because it was jam packed with people ::yes::

We were there Nov 6-13 and it was crowded at MK every day we went there (we spent 2 1/2 days there). AK was crowded. MGM and EPCOT weren't bad at all. Towards the end of the week it seemed to have gotten ALOT worse, I imagine due to Super Soap Wkd. For the first half of our week, when we'd go to the Food Court at our resort in the morning it was pretty empty. By the end of the week you couldn't even find a table to sit.
